The number of positions can be modified through a streamlined workflow that allows you to close or reduce open positions and add a change reason to help support business metrics. This is only for Active jobs.

Go to Jobs >> All Jobs >> click on the cog icon against an active job >> Update Job 

i) Close unfilled positions

You can select the first option to close only unfilled positions. The numbers inside the bracket indicate the number of unfilled positions and the total number of positions respectively. There are three default update reasons that you can select; there would be an option to add your customised reason through the API soon.

Select the reason and click Send.

You should see a Success message at the top right corner of the screen as below once the changes are applied.

The changes will take effect immediately (you don't have to refresh the page).

This update will also reflect on the Job Information >> History tab with a detailed information as below.

ii) Reduce the number of positions

The second option is to reduce the number of positions. You can choose the number of positions you want to reduce it by. The update reasons are the same as the close positions option.

Select the number of positions and the update reason, then click Send.

You should see a Success message at the top right corner of the screen as below once the changes are applied.

The changes will take effect immediately (you don't have to refresh the page).

This update will also reflect on the Job Information >> History tab with a detailed information as below.
